It's Not Too Late

It’s not too late to say I’m sorry.

To say I love you

To start exercising

To do Yoga

To re-start the passion project

To teach online

To reach out to others

To talk to someone

To go back to school

To clean the house

To help others

To try something new

To meditate

To take better care of ourselves

To get married

To make babies

To disrupt our disempowering thoughts

& negative self-beliefs

To stop our numbing behaviours

To change

And yet, there’s the little voice inside of you that says “What’s the point?”, “It’s hopeless.”, “No one cares.” “It’s no good.”

The point is it’s not about being productive nor bettering ourselves nor trying to prove something to others.

The point is it’s about SHOWING UP for yourself.

WHO ARE YOU?

WHO ARE YOU FOR OTHERS?

WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE?

Instead of wallowing in the “I can’t”, “it’s too hard”.....

Show up.

Show up when you don't feel like showing up.

Show up when you don’t think it’s for you.

Show up even if it’s late in the game.

Show up even if you think you know what’s going happen when you do.

Show up.

…. because when you show up despite all the voices in your head -

YOU make friends with who you already are

- the craziness, the anger, the girl who sits at the back of the class, afraid to raise her hands, the crybaby,  the feelings of unworthiness - you are all that too !

They make you who you are!

Show up.

You are amazing! You are good enough!

Yes ! Show up as wholy, as messy and imperfect as you.

Show up for you.

Especially in this challenging time, when we are forced to isolate, social distance, be alone with ourselves. Physically we forced to stay inside. And no one sees you.

But ……..

No one can stop you from shining your heart out.

Show up.

Yes, it’s not too late.

And guess what - it’s OK even if you don’t….. do all those things on the list.

You don't have to forgive. You don't have to be productive.

Where you are right now, it’s perfect.

Take one moment at a time.

Do you and show up newly at every moment!

When you wake up and take that first conscious and grateful breath, you are showing up.

Sometimes that could be the hardest thing to do.

Start with that.

It’s not too late.

You just have to start.

Why not?

Wha’ts the worst that can happen?

Right now, it’s you against yourself, not the world, my dear.

If not you, then who?

Listen to the voice that says “why don’t you?”

Show up.

It’s never too late.
